Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. contracts with The Kentucky Partnership for Early Childhood Services, a part of the University of Kentucky, for providing Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) services for the Green River and Pennyrile Area Development Districts (ADD).

 

The following counties are served by AACS:

Green River—Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster.

Pennyrile—Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg.

Child Care Resource and Referral is a service to the entire community

Parents...CCR&R works with parents to provide appropriate child care information, including tools to evaluate child care settings, and  CCR&R will refer families to a facility that meets their individual needs.

Providers...CCR&R assists new and existing child care providers by facilitating exceptional training opportunities as well as supplying information about quality enhancement programs. CCR&R also serves the provider by supporting continuing education and providing resources to obtain a CDA, CCCC and/or CEUs.

Personnel...CCR&R assists area businesses and employers in locating and/or creating child care resources for their employees.

Public...CCR&R serves the public at large by keeping them informed of current and relevant child care data, issues and needs.

Professionals...Audubon’s CCR&R also works in collaboration with the local public school Family Resource Centers in providing ongoing annual training throughout the service area.
